I’m beginning to dread that day I thought it was wise to get those kids iPods!
(And this is one of the more tame samples between two of them…two who incidentally had the devices taken away for over a week for serious infractions, involving butts and iPod cameras and iMessaging. I’ll stop there!)

That is quite the hilarious exchange!!
I couldn’t make this stuff up!
I love money too. Farting (Even in texting) is funny – End of discussion
I guess i can’t argue with that!
My son is 22-months-old and he already knows how to use my old iPod Touch.

it’s very scary how much the kids know…when I got am iPad last Oct my 5 year old gave me my orentation to it…no joke!
Jaydon is all over the technology in the house. If we have the iPad or laptop out he tries to touch the screen. He already knows how to use the TV remote.
i’m out of the loop already. i didn’t realize you can text on an ipod touch.
It’s funny you posted this because I was just thinking to myself what technology will be like for my kids in the future.
oh please this has been a whole learning experience for me! I knew nothing about them til we had them. they are basically like an iPhone minus the phone…you can only iMessage meaning you can only text someone with an iPod, iPad or iPhone. my brain hurts!!!
We just recently upgraded our Android phones and got new ones. Even though the two old Droid X phones can no longer make calls they can still access the internet and download apps via our at home wi-fi. This is going to be Jaydon’s next toy as it is newer than our iPod touch and can still be updated.
I use a lot of blog posts from safety experts to help parents with problems with Internet
misbehavior…..your kids are just fooling around now, but as you strengthen the parental framework around them, I’m betting they get right back in line. You are a super Mom and I bet your post jolted 100s of parents to check their kids phones!
You’re so sweet Melinda! And I agree, it’s all a serious matter and this was discovered because I DO check their devices daily and constantly reiterate our rules and the consequences.
This is funny stuff! One more thing my daughter has been begging for–an ipod touch. But, this is one more thing my husband wants to push back till she turns ten. Guess this is what we have to look forward to in the future!
Good luck dealing with years of begging!!
