The little one dragged this box up from the basement and has been pretty much living in it for most of the weekend.
I guess kids like confined spaces.
But sometimes I really feel like I have the strangest kids on the planet!

Reminds me of my favorite book as a child. Christina Katerina & the Box
We’ll have to check it out…thanks!
I used to love that book too
Gavin does the same thing! Usually last for 2-3 days and then he moves on to something else. lol
2-3 days seems to be the lifespan for the box doesn’t it?!
it does. lol But they love it. I try and fill it with stuff to recycle for trash and somehow it all gets dumped out and Gavin is back in it playing.
The kids and boxes thing isn’t so weird. When I was a kid my dad had to take a job at this old gas station at a country intersection. My parents were too broke to afford a babysitter, so in the summer or on the weekend we would be stuck in the storage room of the station, or outside on the side lawn, and boxes were often the only things we had to play with the entire day. You’d be amazed what you can make from empty boxes.
yes I get the appeal with boxes but she sort of stayed in it all weekend, living in it and ignoring the rest of us
When we were kids, my cousins and I subjected our big family to “Cardboard Theater” performances which involved boxes of all sizes.
I will admit to having a weird family…but weird can be tons of fun!
That sounds adorable
!
That is so funny. d:~)

she’s a strange one!!!
I’ve tried to create blanket forts but so far Jaydon would rather be on the outside looking in.
