My son let me snap his picture tonight as I tucked him into to bed. I just wanted to soak it all up, soak him all up. He wears that knit hat to bed every night..why? “To keep my head warm” of course! I love that he still loves footsie pjs and has me hunting for them in a size 7. (thank you, Target!)
He had a great weekend playing in the snow with his sisters. And he also had some special time with his dad learning how to operate the snow blower.
I love all of my children tons, but there’s something about my little guy that REALLY tugs me HARD. Does anyone get that?

yep, got it too! Its the connection between a son and his mama. Gavin got a valentine card today that had a picture of two dogs. One had a bow on its head and was kissing the other dog. he looks at me and said this is me and this is you mom. you my valentine. so sweet

My son has to wear his baseball cap to bed every night…it calls it a top hat and says it keeps his head warm too! As I type he is currently searching for it…little brother ran off with it and stashed it somewhere…this could make for an interesting night!
