I snapped this photo this morning. It was too adorable! It lightened my mood as I was actually quite irritated.
I was able to take the picture because the bus was idle…waiting at the bus stop for the child that wasn’t there on time. The one that’s never there on time. The one that has two steps to walk from the front door to the bus stop (as opposed to my kids who have to walk up the street).
How am I going to deal with this for the next 12 years!?
(Oh and the twins aren’t sitting together because my daughter refuses to sit with her brother, to my dismay!)

When I was a kid if you were not at the bus stop when the bus arrived the driver kept going. The bitch of it is the bus drove by me while I was walking to the bus stop. After missing it a few times and having to ride my bike to school on slush covered roads I made sure I was at the bus stop on time. Now I am always on time for departures or meetings. I got a good life lesson from that driver!
It sounds like it was a great lesson. I too had the same experience of the bus driving by if you weren’t there in time…which it should! Make me crazy every morning
